Inspired by a rich history in culinary arts and a long line of the most sincere bakers, husband and wife team, Robert Dean Smith and Susannah Ruth Bryan gave birth to Ruth & Dean in Vancouver in 2012.
They began doing cakes and pies for all occasions and wholesaling their line of preserves and most recently they have branched into catering.
Ruth & Dean believes in food that has the distinction of style and thoughtful creation. The array of cakes and pies are reminiscent of Sunday mornings in Grandma’s kitchen and farmhouse roots. Ruth & Dean strives to use natural flavours in keeping with their belief in honest food, whilst maintaining a catered and custom aesthetic to each and every client.
